there is literary no point. In the long run, the boss bounty will not matter, and if you can execute it every time, it will make the titles even easier to max.

There's a Spanish expression for this:
"Ir pa ná es tontería" (Going for nothing has no meaning)

Killing number bonus, rampage bonus, point bonus, special effect bonus...
They can be random. But not +rank and kill boss.

There is no need to force it to appear if there is a boss nearby. But it should not appear if there are no bosses left, like the Rank2 bonus won't appear if you have rank 2 already.

the only thing i would /sign for is for the entire party to get the same bonus...

other then that, whats the fun in the game if there is no game of chance at all? even in chess theres SOME chance factor (the opponent doesn't see my tower facing his queen, happens even to the best of us, right?)

there has to be SOME mixture of excitment and chance of dispointent for you to wantto come back for more

i think some of the bonuses should be random but some of them not so much the boss bounty shouldnt be. rather it should be but you should have a higher chance of getting it if you get closer to them some of the bonus though i have found to be just worthless like the armor bonus. that lasts for 30 seconds. i think a better bonus would be a random moral boost. so there was a chance that you could get rid of some dp that comes along with vanquishing.

I like your idea Zesbeer, about if you're closer to a boss you have a higher chance of getting the bounty. And I'll add that if you're closer to a mob you have a higher chance of the rampage bonus. Ugh, today I got boss bounty after all bosses were dead because it wouldn't spawn when I was near one, and then there were like three enemies left and it gave me time attack. That sucks...

I hate when I get Strength of the Norn, Great Dwarf Armor, and Energy Channel too. They're pretty pointless, even in hard mode. It's points we want, not random things we won't use. Sure if we're at the max rank and there's nothing else to give us that's fine, but still.

Not in favor of shrine NPC's not giving hunt ranks up, I like being able to get one from 25 or so kills and then another one right at the shrine.

And for those that keep saying keep them random to make it funner and harder and have something to look forward to? I didn't know everyone loved the joy of grinding.

In fact, last I checked, everyone said there was too much grind in the game. So why not change it and make it less of a hassle by giving us bonuses that aren't worthless?
